Litz Wire

Commercial grade Litz wire for power magnetics. Significant improvement in the performance of high frequency devices can be realized by using Litz wire. The selection of optimal stranding is a complex issue. Advice on selection is available. Litz wire is available up to 169 strands (13 groups of 13 individual strands) Any wire twist is available (tolerance on twists/inch ± 30 %) Individual strands from 17 awg to 35 awg Total wire size up to 18,000 CM Wire can be supplied in any standard insulation Because of the large possible number of gauges, stranding, twist, insulation, and quantity; each lot must be quoted individually.
